If only I could find more time..

Never put off till tomorrow what you could do today. Its pretty smart and makes a lot of sense… but why is it so hard to follow?

I think for me, its pretty easy to convince myself that tomorrow will some how be longer than today. For example, right now I’m totally confident I don’t have enough time to clean my refrigerator out, and tomorrow when I can start earlier I know that I will have “more time” to get it done. Therefore I should do something else right now and save that project for later. And by something else I mean catch up on the Daily Show and Colbert Report. The reality is however, I have just as much time now, as I will tomorrow. It just seems easier to say you will have more time tomorrow because it’s far away and it still feels so promising. Unfortunately for me the probability of tomorrow the whole cycle starting over again is pretty high, and the probability of my refrigerator never getting cleaned out is even higher.

Did I miss the boat ?

So I have thought about "blogging" for a while... but I just never seemed to get around to it. After setting up this blog it is now clear to me why. Coming with a name. Honestly I have no real purpose for this blog other than sharing random thoughts with no one specific. I am not sharing my expertise on something (decorating or cooking), or offering helpful reviews about a particular subject, maybe installing roof racks, (I found a helpful blog about that last week). So an obvious and easy name was out of the question. I started typing and came up with a few witty ideas (or at least what I thought was witty) and it turns out EVERYTHING is taken... seriously everything. I even tried ginger root. Two things really struck me about this, first I guess I am a serious latecomer to the blogging world, and second I am not nearly as original as I thought. I like to think of myself as fairly original, however when you try blog names for about 45 min and EVERYTHING even ginger root is taken it makes you seriously question your self. I ended up with grapesandpears, which is run on and pretty irrelevant, and I doubt if I will ever even mention fruit. But, it was the first thing I found that wasn't taken and I decided to grab it quick before some other blogger running through the contents of the fridge trying to find a name snatched it up.
